Does Lambda contains “return” statements?
What is the output of this program?
list1 = [lambda x: x * 2,
lambda x: x * 3,
lambda x: x * 4]
for element in list1 :
Hint (read only if you find this code confusing):
This list consists of 3 lambda functions. Yes, you can do that but you will probably never use this. Stay with this example for the sake of learning the concepts.
So when we write: for element in list1 – you are accessing each of the functions, one by one.
Inside the for loop, when you write: element(25) you are passing that value 25 to that particular function.
Lambda contains block of statements. A “block of statements” means code which spans multiple lines and contains multiple statements.
What is the output of below program?
lamb = lambda x: x ** 3
